These fast moving storms came out of nowhere tonight on an otherwise calm day with blue skies! Crazy!

Tonight's senior session with 'M' was rained out after a short time, so we rescheduled. We did manage to get a few shots in before the rain.

...and even tried a few shots *in* the rain...

Now onto some photo-session friendly weather! :)

This sweet senior grad brought along a clothes basket full of clothing & accessories, let me pick final outfits AND locations. That type of creative freedom is so very much appreciated!!! ...even if I tend to get a bit carried away. Ha! I love the results...I hope you do too... *grin*

Thank you "S" for the awesome session! If the sun wouldn't have gone down, I don't think I would have let you go home! ;-)

Am I in Trouble?

Mom: "Hi Nicole, you were on the roof of my house this weekend".
Me: *silence* (wondering if I am in trouble?)
Mom: You photographed my neice's wedding last weekend, in my backyard.
Me (hesitant): Yes, I did and yes, I did sneak up on your roof this weekend.
Mom: My daughter is graduating and we would like to set up grad pictures!
Me (relieved): Ok, great! *whew, I'm not in trouble*

HA! I seriously have "THE" best clients!

Thanks 'M' for being up for anything...it was fun to hang out with you and your mom. I could share a ton of images here...

Urban

I LOVE urban locations. It's one of those things that was embedded in my blood while living in a big city after college. Sipping expensive coffee, having lunch downtown, listening to local musicians liven up the streets and strolling by old crumbling and renovated buildings. It's something not everyone 'gets'....and that's ok with me. There are thousands and thousands of cool locations in the Twin Ports, which is one of the reasons I love this place! Just when I think we have discovered them all...something else interesting appears. It happens at nearly every session.

I don't have one myself, but I wouldn't mind one. I'm just chicken.

A twist on the headshot...

The way I play with light...what you see, isn't what you get, so you just have to trust me. That's the hardest part...but the surprise is worth it!

And last, but not least...

Senior grads, you are in the right place. See for yourself, one of a kind images...designed with the style and trends of your of graduating year in mind...2009!

Looking back in 5-10 years, your images will tell a story about who you were at this time in your life. It's all about breaking the rules! And if you want...Nicole will even take your yearbook headshot while she hangs upside down on the monkey bars. :-P

In other words, have a blast, kick back, relax, bring a friend, bring your ipod, text between shots...and by all means...sleep 'til noon!
